Becky Little (EBUKI) has been busy making and curing a set of render tests that will be exposed to the full force of the Plymouth winter. The idea is to create a render that will bond to the light earth element of Cobbauge while also being durable and flexible over time and workable on a large commercial scale. Good job we like a challenge!
We are testing a range of clay and lime mixes, both traditional and modern, and will use these initial experiments to guide and inform more large scale tests on a pilot building next year.
